MY Solimar

At Solimar International we are all travelers. We have lived, worked, studied, and played in different destinations around the world. As we built Solimar International we found that many of the "off the beaten track", unique places we discovered were hard to find. The local travel agents do not know about the secluded lodges that we have found or transportation options and logistics to get to these places. And we also realized that the independent traveler had little time to do the research that sustainable and independent travel requires. So we decided to try and do our best to help connect these destinations to the travelers.

We have been working to develop what we call our Digital Travel Planner. This tool will help independent travelers identify and learn about the options they have to travel in the countries we work in. We are also developing the new Solimar Travel web site to have an itinerary building section, which will allow users to create an account and then add in hotels, transportation options, tours, etc. This feature will allow the user to have more freedom in the creation of their vacation experiences. Unfortunately the creation of this part of the site required us to create a whole new web site. So please come back and visit us in the new future when the new Solimar Travel site will allow you to enjoy the My Solimar features of the new site.
