Accommodations |
 |
Finca Rosa Blanca offers the extraordinary Master suite, three elegant yet whimsical junior suites, two spacious villas, and three uniquely appointed double rooms, each with its own private veranda. |
The Rosa Blanca Suite is a stunning duplex, with the
sleeping quarters occupying a tower 40 feet above the
ground with a 360-degree view of the surrounding lush
countryside and the Central Valley beyond. Stairs built
around a Cristóbal tree trunk lead down to the
master bathroom. There a hand painted tropical rainforest
mural surrounds the bathtub-pool, which is fed by spring
water cascading down a stone waterfall.
El Guarumo
Luxuriate in the elegance of "El Guarumo", a junior
suite where you can sit on your private terrace or bask
in a free form tub overlooking a Guarumo tree and the
far-flung reaches of the valley below.
El Cafetal
Named for the expansive views of the coffee
plantations and its accompanying mural of the countryside,
"El Cafetal" is the latest addition to Finca
Rosa Blanca. Built in late 1999, it features a sumptuous
king-sized bed, a Jacuzzi bathtub large enough for two
which overlooks the valley and a fabulous tiled bathroom
which is filled with natural light. Guests can enjoy
the sunset from the private deck which is suspended
over the flowing landscape.
The Ventana
The "Ventana", a junior suite named for its
famous window mural of the view outside, features a
rustic hand made bed with an extra bedroom for the family.
Its spacious private terrace has a magnificent view
of the Central Valley below.
Blano y Negro
Experience the graphic colors and black and
white tile floors of the exciting "Blanco y Negro" room,
while relaxing on the Arts and Crafts style bed or outside
on your private garden veranda.
El Campo
"El Campo" is a romantic double room filled with hand
made furniture and antiques from the countryside. The
walls are painted with a mural of old Costa Rica. The
secluded patio is ideal for enjoying bird watching and
absorbing the sounds of the abundant wildlife.
Las Mascaras
"Las Máscaras" is an intimate and whimsical
double room, filled with masks from around the world
and original contemporary art. Its private veranda with
its stunning views offers the guests a visual feast.
The quiet of the countryside beckons from "El Establo"
and "El Granero", private two bedroom villas accented
with hand painted "Talavera" tiles and with spacious
decks offering spectacular views of the central valley.

Sustainable
Efforts |
 |
Since 1985, when Finca Rosa Blanca was conceived, one important goal was always the priority: to leave the minimum possible trace of its existence, while bringing its guests an educational and aesthetic experience in the bio-diverse environment of Costa Rica. Finca Rosa Blanca has concentrated on an ambitious plan of recycling, regeneration, social consciousness and education. Finca Rosa Blanca has gone to great efforts not only to recycle organic and non-organic materials, but they have also implemented management practices to have as little of an impact as they can on the natural environment and resources of the property. Finca Rosa Blanca i s also very supportive of thelocal community and has dedicated a substantial sum of their profits as well as 5% of the cost of every meal sold at the hotel to help rebuild the Barrio Jesús primary school in Santa Bárbara de Heredia, including a new library, offices and classrooms, a recycling program, and books and other additional materials. . Because of these efforts, Finca Rosa Blanca was awarded the highest rating within the CST program with 5 leaves. |
