When visiting India and you want to be where all the action is, Mumbai is the ideal destination for you. This is the country’s center of trade, finance, and entertainment and is considered to be India’s most affluent city. The city’s tropical climate means that you’d probably spend the bulk of your visit outdoors while exploring Mumbai’s main attractions. Here you can find some amazing beaches and of course, the center of stardom—Bollywood. Here are some things you can see and do in Mumbai.

Enjoy some seafood.

If catches of the sea really ring your bells, you will have an enjoyable time dining in Mumbai. At Pratap, you can enjoy some amazing sea food offerings. Here, you can indulge on crabs, lobsters, and prawns, cooked just the way locals enjoy them. Pratap Lunch Home is a tourist magnet because here, you can choose the sea food fresh and have the chefs cook it for you. Established in 1961, among their most popular dishes are the crab tandoori, king pomfret gassi, and prawns tawa.

Stop by Bollywoood.

Bollywood has always been synonymous with fame and glamour and is a must stop when you are in Mumbai. Just next to the Churchgate station, this is the best place to head to if you want to watch a local movie or perhaps you want to take a tour of the studios. You may even want to be an extra for a day in a movie, if you are a frustrated actor or actress. The Bindaas Bollywood Tour has a price of $95 per person and includes lunch plus a drive to the homes of famous local stars.
