With all the coast line to explore in Costa Rica why not check it out by Sea Kayak. Many of the beach towns have companies that will rent out equipment as well as set up tours if you are interested. Much of the coast offers fairly calm and relaxed opportunities to kayak, allowing beginners to experts places to enjoy. If you want a little more adventure you can find it as well.
