Don't expect to find many well-organized campgrounds in Costa Rica. It's possible to camp in many places, but you often have to carry in your own water or make arrangements with local people to use their facilities. Most parks have camping facilities; most refuges and reserves don't. Detailed information can be obtained by calling specific conservation area offices. |
